This week we’re all about laying low with the family! If you’re like me, your life somewhat resembles the movie Four Christmases. There’s Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Christmas Dinner and those are all split between several different houses… it’s nonstop! If you’re lucky, you get to relax at one central location. While being able to lay low at one place may be key, I kind of like house hopping, it gives me a chance to play with my wardrobe.

For Christmas Eve festivities it’s always fun to dress it up a little bit, especially if you like to go from house party to bar hopping for a midnight toast! Just remember, it’s Christmas, so let’s not get too crazy. To stay on trend try out a leather mini skirt like this one from Shop Roxx. It comes in burgundy which is a fun twist on the usual black leather we’re seeing everywhere. Tuck in a white button down blouse to make it tres chic! Button it all the way up and throw on a statement necklace like this one from Roman Luxe. Step into lace up high heel booties like these bad boys from BCBG to add the final touch of sophistication to this outfit and you’re good to go!

Christmas Day is typically more about comfort, but don’t skimp on the style this year! Oversized sweaters are so on trend, and cozy! Look for ones with adorable prints or witty sayings like this Home Alone-themed frock. Wearing leather leggings with any top is an instant way to dress up an outfit while remaining at the most extreme level of comfort! The shoes will decide just how dressy you want to go with this outfit. Flats for super casual, booties make it a little more dressy, and black pumps to dress it up to the max.
