It’s no secret that trying to find the perfect pair of glasses to fit and flatter your face can be a bit of a challenge. As much as we don’t want to admit it, trying on new frames in the middle of a crowded store can be a little awkward. After all, I like to really take in what my glasses are going to look like, it involves a little posing, some selfless… you know, the usual things you prefer to do without an audience watching your every move. That’s why when I discovered Rivet & Sway after they followed me on Twitter, I was beyond excited to take their website for a test drive!
If you’ve never heard of Rivet & Sway before, they are this amazing company that offers a wide variety of glasses and sunglasses online, but that’s really not the best part! Upon visiting their website you are prompted to take a style quiz. They ask you if you know your exact frame size, but don’t worry if you don’t, you can guess. Then they show you an array of pictures and you basically choose the ones that are the most esthetically pleasing based on the types of frames that you prefer, or outfit choices, colors that catch your eye, things like that.
When you reach the end of your quiz you are presented with the frames the Rivet & Sway stylists have picked for you!
If you don’t like one, or even all of the pairs, you can swap them out for another pair they’ve picked for you. I literally had a field day on this website! After you’ve found five pairs of glasses you like you are able to select all of them for an at home try on! They mail you a box with your glasses and you have a few days (five days I believe, although I may have held on to mine a little longer, whoops!) to check them out and try them on. Once you’ve picked a pair you love, you send them all back with the shipping label they have provided, and go online to order the ones you love. To be honest, I didn’t end up buying any of the ones I selected the first time around, but I’m looking forward to getting a new batch of glasses to choose from. It’s such a fun process, they even have stylists available to help you find the right frames and give you some candid, helpful styling advice! I’ve never experienced anything quite like it, but I think I have found my new obsession!
Here are the glasses I picked out on my first trial.

What do you think? My problem here was I chose frames that were a little too similar! Next time around I’m going to go for a little more variety, but I was so drawn to all of the color I couldn’t help myself! Have you ever tried on your frames at home without the hassle and commitment? Tweet me your questions and comments about Rivet & Sway and their amazing services at @The_RachelRoss!
