Ahh, it’s finally Summer. What new gear will you be sporting during your workouts? Here are a few items that should definitely be on your list.
1. Yoga mat carrier. There are some super hip bags out there for carrying your mat to and from class. I prefer a bag that also has a zipper pouch of some sort, so it doubles as a place to toss my phone and keys while I’m heading to class.
2. Neon running shorts. If there’s any color you wouldn’t normally wear, you can always wear it running. I’m not typically a fan of crazy neons but I’m totally fearless when it comes to buying running shorts. Splurge on some crazy colors and patterns to liven things up!
3. Shoe laces. What’s better than pretty new running shoes to start of the summer? Crazy shoes laces to go along with them. It’s a way to customize your shoes and show off your personal style.
4. Tie dye sports bra. When a few friends and I were bored we decided to have a little spontaneous tie dye party, and it was a blast. I had a boring white sports bra that I grabbed, along with some tube socks and a plain white T. They are now so fun to wear when I work out!
5. New water bottle. I buy myself a new water bottle somewhat frequently. I see it as a way of rewarding myself for keeping hydrated, and I just find them to be really fun. Lately I’ve been loving the ones that have fun or motivational sayings on them. I’ve also seen one that hides your keys and a credit card, if that’s something you need. My only tip is to buy a water bottle that’s see-through so you can tell how much water you’ve drank so far. I always drink more when my water bottle is hip, and I can keep track of how much I still need!
